Stacey advises trustees, employers and other industry stakeholders across all aspects of pensions law and practice.
She has advised a broad range of pension schemes from very large master trusts to SIPPs. She has experience advising scheme providers on the administration and operation of defined benefit, defined contribution and hybrid pension schemes including: satisfying regulatory requirements, drafting and interpreting scheme documents including drafting scheme consolidations, benefit changes and closures to DB accrual, scheme mergers, governance, liability management, member disputes and dispute resolution procedures, bulk and individual transfers, pensions tax matters and winding-up. She also has experience of complex scheme establishment and advised schemes subject to regulatory requirements (including Pensions Regulator master trust authorisation) as well as advising in relation to the establishment of asset backed funding arrangements.
Stacey provides advice on the pensions aspects of corporate transactions including transactions subject to the Take Over Code as well as other corporate transactions. She advises clients in relation to their exposure to trustee and Pensions Regulator risk, the allocation of pension scheme liabilities, the management of section 75 debts as well as TUPE risks.
She also has experience advising in relation to the pensions aspects of insurance transactions including advising insurers during the completion of large buy out transactions.
