Jackelyn West Senior Associate

Jackelyn advises on a broad range of contentious tax issues for individuals, multi-nationals and FTSE listed companies. Her tax litigation experience spans from the First-tier Tax Tribunal to the European Court of Justice, and her work has included traditional tax appeals, judicial reviews, ADR and settlement discussions with HMRC.

Jackelyn has gained her tax litigation experience in both government and private practice dispute resolution teams, and is able to draw on her previous experience as a litigation associate in HMRC’s Solicitor’s Office to advise her clients on effective and strategic communication with HMRC.

Jackelyn has a particular expertise in advising upon and litigating indirect tax issues arising in the financial services industry, regularly advising large financial institutions including banks, payment service providers, insurance companies and asset managers.
