Jennifer Reeves Senior Associate
Jenny has over 10 years’ experience of competition litigation, commercial disputes and public law matters. She has a particular interest in class actions and advises clients in several major collective claims before the UK Competition Appeal Tribunal.
Jenny’s competition and antitrust related work includes defending clients in stand-alone and follow-on claims, as well as challenging decisions of competition and other regulators. Jenny also has experience of investigations relating to competition law and other issues. She has been involved in some of the largest competition disputes of the past decade.
Jenny has advised clients in a broad range of industries, including financial services, manufacturing, transport, energy, pharmaceuticals and consumer goods.
In addition to competition litigation, Jenny advises clients on general commercial and corporate disputes as well as using public law tools to secure commercial outcomes, including judicial review proceedings.
Prior to joining Macfarlanes, Jenny practised law at two major international law firms and spent two years at the UK’s Competition Appeal Tribunal where she was closely involved in the introduction of collective actions.
Jenny is a solicitor-advocate and she has been recommended by the Legal 500 for competition litigation (2019).
