Krishan advises on the taxation aspects of private equity and investment management matters.

He has represented a range of UK, European and US sponsors on taxation aspects of the raising of investment funds, including private equity buyout and continuation funds, as well as the structuring of carried interest and co-investment programmes in several European jurisdictions.

Krishan also has experience in the taxation and structuring aspects of domestic and cross-border private and public M&A and debt financing transactions, having worked, in particular, on two high profile take-private transactions from the LSE Main Market, a NASDAQ listing via a “de-SPAC” transaction, and strategic partnerships of a number of investment management businesses with institutional investors.

Krishan also focusses on the structuring and establishment of management incentive plans for private equity backed businesses both from a sponsor and a management perspective.
