Lawrence Parkin Senior Associate

Lawrence advises on a broad range of tax and structuring matters, including the UK and cross-border tax aspects of complex M&A transactions, group reorganisations and tax planning arrangements.

Lawrence has particular experience working on large cross-border M&A transactions, including structuring a number of high-value disposals for listed clients in his previous role at a Big Four accounting firm. He also advises on multi-jurisdictional corporate reorganisations and strategic tax planning for public and private groups.

Elsewhere, Lawrence advises investment fund clients on complex UK and international tax matters, including fund establishment, investment structuring and transactional work.  He also supports the private client group on tax issues relating to the business interests of individuals and family offices.

In addition, Lawrence advises the management teams of private equity backed companies on tax matters associated with investment, disposal and reinvestment transactions, including with regard to their equity incentive arrangements.

Lawrence also has experience undertaking tax due diligence work, in both buy- and sell-side contexts. 

Lawrence is a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland.
