Successfully acting for the trustee of a discretionary and testamentary trust in appellate proceedings including further defending the judgment in the jurisdiction's final court of appeal. This dispute involved complex issues relating to the court’s jurisdiction to remove a trustee, the extent of a trustee’s power of exoneration, and the extent of variation powers of a trust.

A high-net-worth settlor

Advising a settlor in proceedings to rescind a complex and high value offshore trust of substantial assets on the basis of mistake, including supporting the ultra-high net worth individual through an investigation with a revenue authority.

An individual trustee

Advising a trustee in long-running proceedings to recoup misappropriated trust assets, including Barnes v Addy claims, associated insolvency proceedings and claims against the former trustee for maladministration of trust assets.
