Raphael Jordanou Associate

Raphael specialises in cross-border and domestic litigation.

Much of his work relates to international contentious trust and estate matters, often involving substantial underlying family-owned corporate structures. He also has experience of advising in relation to non-contentious trust and estate litigation, including Variation of Trusts Act applications and stress testing of complex cross-border succession planning. 

Many of the matters he advises on involve a corporate element and he has experience of advising on cross-border enforcement and asset protection, shareholder disputes and claims relating to breaches of directors' duties. He has also advised on other general commercial matters, such as contractual disputes arising from private equity investments and financial institution professional negligence claims.

He has experience of working with lawyers in various jurisdictions including Cyprus, Switzerland, Portugal, USA (Delaware, California, Texas), Canada, Mexico and various offshore trusts jurisdictions, such as Bermuda, Cayman and Guernsey.
