Madison Kaur Senior Counsel

Madison is a corporate insurance lawyer with a range of experience of transactions and corporate advisory matters in the insurance sector, as well as experience in regulatory insurance matters and insurance de-risking solutions for defined benefit pension schemes.

Madison has significant experience of advising insurers and reinsurers on pension de-risking solutions, including bulk annuity transactions, pension scheme buy-ins, longevity swaps, reinsurance transactions (covering both pensioner and deferreds) and associated collateral structures.

Madison has also advised on insurance matters in public & private M&A transactions, insurance business transfer schemes and insurance policy reviews (including warranty and indemnity insurance, directors and officers insurance and credit risk insurance). She has also advised on change in control matters under FSMA and has experience co-ordinating international change in control processes.

Madison is a member of the corporate social responsibility committee at the firm and is significantly involved with the firm’s Skills Development Initiative.
