Laura advises financial institutions and corporates on complex, multi-jurisdiction investigations and contentious regulatory matters.

Laura acts on a broad range of financial services disputes, including high-profile regulatory investigations, many of which have an international element, and complex litigation. She has experience of dealing with matters which are highly sensitive, where the client’s business and reputation are often at risk. Her practice includes both domestic and international external investigations, as well as internal and independent reviews.

Laura has experienced investigations both from the perspective of a regulator, having spent nine months on secondment to the Financial Conduct Authority, and from a client's perspective, undertaking a secondment at an international bank. 

In addition to her financial services expertise, Laura works on a variety of complex corporate and employment disputes for clients in various industries and sectors. Her recent experience includes disputes concerning minimum term employment contracts, breach of confidence claims, board room disputes and breach of contract claims.

Laura sits on the Executive Committee of the Financial Services Lawyers Association.

Qualified in England and Wales, 2014.
