Fortius operates three outpatient and diagnostic clinics in central London in addition to the Fortius Surgical Centre and a specialist Joint Replacement Centre and is recognised as being among the top 20 orthopaedic groups in the world. With this milestone, Affidea expands into the sub-specialty area of sports medicine, adding 90 leading specialists to its network, while also expanding its geographic footprint.

The transaction was led by corporate and M&A partner Simon Perry and tax and reward partner Rob Collard with assistance from solicitors Michael Sweeney and Mark Petch.
