Also, in response to recommendations from the Work & Pensions Committee prompted by the BHS case, the Department for Work & Pensions has issued a Green Paper seeking views on:

• a mandatory clearance regime;
• permitting benefit reductions; and
• expanding the Pensions Regulator’s powers to wind-up schemes.
