Macfarlanes has advised Dignity, the leading end-of-life service provider in the UK, on its acquisition of Farewill Limited (Farewill), an award-winning leader in digital end-of-life services.

Farewill offers a range of later-life products, including wills, probate, at-need funerals, and pre-paid funeral plans. The acquisition of Farewill has complemented Dignity’s offering allowing it to broaden its audience, expand its product range, modernise its digital services and further strengthen its talent pool. 

The transaction was led by corporate M&A partner Harry Coghill, with assistance from senior counsel Mark Slade and associates Charlotte Cato and Alexandra Gaynor.
