Macfarlanes has advised abrdn on the successful fundraising of Aberdeen Standard Core Infrastructure III, abrdn’s third European core infrastructure fund, which has closed with total commitments in excess of €500m. Macfarlanes has also advised abrdn on co-investment transactions alongside the main fund vehicle.

The Macfarlanes team was led by private funds partner Stephen Robinson with assistance from senior counsel Henry Stewart-Brown and associate Jake Bedford. Tax advice was provided by tax and reward partner Sarah Shucksmith with assistance from associate Sam Shillam.
