Success stories - women in real estate: episode eight

In episode eight of our women in real estate podcast series, associate Emily Chandler sits down with Jade Grantham, associate director in the operational capital markets team at Colliers.

Jade began her career at Cushman and Wakefield, completing the APC chartered surveying qualification and her MSc in Real Estate in tandem. Once qualified, Jade moved to London and into an APAC cross-border role focused on southeast Asian capital coming into London and Europe, predominantly through central city offices and mixed-use business parks.

Jade's next role was a pivot into the world of client-side, where she became the Senior Commercial Asset Manager for Anglo Fortune Capital Group, a Singaporean family office with a focus on assets in London with over £250m of assets under management. As part of Jade's wider role, she looked to build the commercial asset management business while fulfilling her client’s strategic investment requirements. After a couple of years and a pandemic, Jade decided to take a big sector shift away from offices and join the Operational Capital Markets Team at Colliers to focus on the commercial living sector. Jade advises a range of investors and developers on transactions, joint ventures, and operations predominantly across student accommodation, build-to-rent and co-living sectors.
