Banks and Alternative Lenders

The lending market has changed dramatically since 2009 with the rise of alternative lenders who are now entrenched in the market alongside the banks. We have taken our long-standing bank lender and fund formation practices and now provide an unrivalled offering to banks and credit funds looking to raise, leverage and deploy capital alone or together.

For our bank clients, we work alongside in-house counsel in dealing with their corporate legal issues and also with their deal teams on their lending activity and their partnerships (on a deal or ongoing basis) with other market participants.  We understand the requirements of our clients but also, crucially, the structures and funds they are lending to and the assets against which their loans are secured.

For alternative lenders, we seek a symbiotic relationship, assisting them on raising funds, with their leverage needs, on the hedging of their commitments and investments and, last but not least, on their deployment of capital.   Our all-round offering to credit funds is, we believe, unrivalled.

For all lenders, we assist when loans become stressed and distressed, helping them protect their investment and recover their capital.
