Shaul advises on a wide range of UK and cross-border corporate tax issues, including private M&A, private equity transactions, restructurings, special situations and structured finance.

Shaul specialises in advising investment fund clients on the structuring of their private equity and special opportunity investments, as well as related refinancings, restructurings and exits.

Shaul also advises financial institutions in relation to their financing arrangements, with a particular focus on securitisations and other forms of secured lending. Shaul is a member of HMRC’s Taxation of Securitisations Working Group.

Shaul is a Chartered Tax Adviser and a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation.

Advising Alchemy on both the initial acquisition and subsequent sale of the Inn Collection Group to a newly-formed company backed by the Harris family and Kings Park Capital.
