Colin leads the firm’s real estate finance practice. He has extensive experience advising investors and lenders in relation to domestic and international real estate investment and development finance transactions.

Colin specialises in real estate finance. He acts for investors, developers and lenders including private equity real estate investors, banks and debt funds, hotel owners and operators and high-net-worth individuals on the financing of the acquisition and/or development of a broad range of real estate assets in the UK including in the private rented /build to rent, student accommodation, and hotels sectors.

Colin is a member of the Commercial Real Estate Finance Council.

Advising Supermarket Income REIT on its five facilities, with aggregate commitments of up to £535m in respect of its current portfolio of over 30 supermarkets and shopping centres.

ARA Venn

Advising Ara Venn on the long-term acquisition financing, provided under the UK government backed Private Rented Sector Housing Guarantee Scheme, of the £400m+ acquisition of three BTR developments by German real estate investor, ECE.
